Our staff is passionate about Improving Quality of Life. I was not pleased at all with Jefferson Hills Manor. When I walked in, the smell of urine was too prevalent for me. I saw the occupational therapy and the physical therapy rooms. I didn't even want to give this place one star but I had no choice if I wanted to comment. I would never leave a loved here under any circumstances.

At Jefferson Hills Manor there has never been a bad smell. The floors are all mopped constantly by the housekeepers. The food was the best ever and better than the other nursing homes I was at. The staff comes right away when I put my light on in my room and never get frustrated with me and I call for them a lot. When I arrived the weather was warm and now it is much colder and the laundry people gave me a nice warm sweater to wear home. I recommend this facility to everyone who needs a place to go.

If your on pain pills you MUST ask for them. If your family member has a bad memory or doesn't know to ask, they won't get them. I always have to ask for them to get a pain pill. I feel if they are prescribed pain pills they should get them with out asking. I know I wouldn't like them or at least my husbands was very hard.
